McAlister’s Deli to Give Away ‘Famous Sweet Tea’ on July 29th
Indianapolis, IN. – McAlister’s Corp. is declaring July 29, 2010, as “Free Tea Day” and will give away McAlister’s Famous Sweet Tea ™ at any of the 12 central Indiana McAlister’s Deli restaurants. Customers who visit McAlister’s Deli locations on “Free Tea Day” will be offered a free, 32 oz. cup of McAlister’s famous sweet tea—no purchase necessary.
McAlister’s sweet tea fans will not only be able to enjoy their favorite beverage on July 29 at no cost, but they will also be able to take part in “Free Tea Day” in a fun and interactive way. In preparation for Free Tea Day, McAlister’s will be hosting the first-ever Tea Town Showdown. Beginning July 2nd, every city and town with a McAlister’s is invited to compete in the contest, in which residents are asked to vote daily for their hometowns. In addition, there will be multiple challenges on Facebook and Twitter each week, awarding cool prizes for the winners and huge bonus points for their communities.
The winning town will get a huge hospitality boost in the form of $5,000 for new shade trees or park improvements! McAlister’s locations in the winning town will also get a special celebration the week of August 16, along with some nice incentives for the winning restaurant associates who helped earn the title of Tea Town USA.
