Drink for Pink with a Gallon to Go
Indianapolis, IN– McAlister’s Deli is promoting their gallon size sweet tea to raise money for the Indianapolis Affiliate of Susan G Komen for the Cure. Pick up a gallon of sweet tea this summer through September at any of the 13 Indiana locations for $4.99 and one dollar of your purchase will go to the Indianapolis Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. “McAlister’s Deli is grateful that we can give to this cause. The foundation does important work and we are glad we can give back in this way,” Charlie Hensley, CEO/Managing Member for McAlister’s Deli Indiana, said.
Last year McAlister’s Deli did this same promotion and raised $15,000 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure in its fight to end breast cancer forever. The enthusiasm from McAlister’s Deli Indiana customers and employees was remarkable, and their donation goal was easily exceeded. “We are honored to partner with Susan G. Komen for the Cure and support the awareness of a disease that affects so many people.” Hensley said.
Together, McAlister’s Deli Indiana and Susan G. Komen for the Cure are excited to see what this years promotion will result in. “We are honored to partner with a company that is as passionate about finding a cure for breast cancer as we are! The donation from McAlister’s “Gallon to Go” initiative will enable uninsured and underserved women and men in central Indiana with access to life saving breast health services. Words are not enough to show our immense gratitude to the McAlister’s team and their customers,” said Karin Schwab, Development Director for the Indianapolis Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The Indianapolis Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure funds research, education, screening and treatment initiatives in 21 counties throughout Central Indiana.
