Indiana McAlister's Deli Supports Chasing Down the Cure

Carmel, Indiana - Indiana McAlister's Deli is proud to support the 2nd Annual Chasing Down the Cure and Solving the NF Puzzle. A 5K Run/Walk with the purpose of raising awareness of and funds for research and patient care for the set of disorders supported by the Children's Tumor Foundation, the neurofibromatoses (types I and II and schwannomatosis). These are a set of disorders that are quite cmmon (approximately 1:2500-3000 people) and characterized by painful and disfiguring tumors in children and adults, bone problems, learning disabilities, deafness, and extreme pain.

All funds riased from the 5K Run/Walk will be donated directly to the CTF, which advocates for patients, supports research and attempts to raise awareness of these disorders in the health care community and the world as a whole.
